Two bystanders were injured on September 1 in a grenade attack on a security checkpoint in Chaman Phatak area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, reports Dawn. Superintendent of Police (City) Azhar Shah said that unidentified assailants threw a grenade at the checkpost, but it fell outside and exploded, causing injuries to two bystanders, identified as Osama and Ghulam Hussain.
