On Saturday, August 31, an explosion shook the Cenobio Moreno community in the municipality of Apatzingán. According to what has been learned, in the absence of an official version, a device launched from a drone over an explosives factory caused the explosives to detonate.
Initially, a wounded man was reported to have been found in the building, but later six bodies of suspected criminals were recovered from under the rubble. In the afternoon, the wounded man died in hospital.
