On October 09 2019, 2 civilians were killed and 4 were wounded when their vehicle was hit by a Taliban-planted roadside bomb in the Shinyah area of Dawlat Yar district, Ghor. An ambulance arrived to carry the victims but it got hit with another roadside bomb in the area; the driver was wounded.
