A woman survived an armed attack while she was in the Adolfo López Mateos neighborhood of the city of Zamora.
Neighbors alerted authorities shortly after hearing some explosions.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m., on the streets of Ignacio Torres de Guzmán and Luis Padilla Nervo , where the woman was attacked with gunshots.
Shortly after arriving at the scene, members of the Municipal Police and the National Guard entered the home and found the victim, so they cordoned off the area and requested the support of an ambulance.
This is Monica Z., R., 32 years old, residing in said settlement, she had injuries to her left arm and neck, so she was taken to a hospital.
Authorities from the State Attorney General's Office took note of the incident and began investigations to identify and find the aggressor(s).
