Grenade event in Manipur, Wabagai Natekhong Khulpali, Kakching District area, India on Wed 28th August 2024

A cache of arms and ammunitions were recovered during a coordinated search operation by Security Forces (SFs) near Wabagai Natekhong Khulpali ground under the jurisdiction of Hiyanglam Police Station in Kakching District of Manipur on August 28, reports Northeast Today. During the search operation, various arms and ammunition were recovered, including sten MKV Rifle with 2 magazines, two 12 Bore Single Barrel Rifles, two 9mm Pistols with magazines, nine Hand Grenades, one Stun Grenade, four Arming Rings, four Tube launchers, eight 9mm live rounds, three 12 bore live cartridges, two 12 bore fired cartridges, eighteen 7.62 Explosive Cartridges, ten 7.62 SLR fired cartridges ten 7.62 AK fired cartridges.
