On August 26, two Taliban fighters were killed and another was injured when National Resistance Front (NRF) ambushed the Taliban fighters at the Hashimi Oil Tank, opposite Arya Township in the 13th Police District (PD) in Herat City of Herat Province, reports National Resistance Front on X. The terrorists killed in this operation were part of the second battalion of the first border brigade under the Al-Farooq Corps.NRF also captured several enemy weapons and ammunition.
