Four powerful Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres to target the Security Forces (SFs) were unearthed during an anti-Naxal [Left Wing Extremism, LWE] operation by the personnel of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Jharkhand Jaguar and District Armed Police (DAP) in Maoist infested forests near villages bordering the Tonto and Goilkera Police Stations areas in West Singhbhum District of Jharkhand on August 25, reports odishabhaskar.in. Each of the IEDs weighed five kilogrammes. They were defused at the spot by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS).
