Sea mine defused on the coast of Odesa region
Navy sailors have destroyed another sea mine that washed up on the coast in Odesa region.
According to Ukrinform, the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
‘Last night, the Ukrainian Navy destroyed another sea mine that washed up on the coast of Odesa region. The detected munition was defused by a controlled explosion,’ the post reads.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Romanian Navy carried out a controlled explosion of a sea mine that was drifting near the Black Sea coast.
According to the Romanian Navy, more than 100 drifting mines have been detected and destroyed since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
