On October 18 2019, at least 73 civilians including dozens of children were killed and 36 were wounded by a suicide bomber inside a mosque in the Jow Darah area of Dih Bala (Haska Mina) district, Nangarhar. 2 teachers and the village's only doctor were among the fatalities. It's unclear who was behind the attack. Taliban condemned it. Total fatalities coded as 74 (including the suicide bomber).
