On 31 October 2019, a an unknown number of Afghan security personnel were killed and wounded when they arrived as reinforcement to the site of an explosion and their tank was hit by a Taliban RPG in Shindand district center, Herat. Unknown fatalities coded as 3 due to the size of tank.
