Rocket event in Kharkiv, Bogodukhiv area, Ukraine on Tue 27th August 2024

On August 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 09:40 a.m., the Russians bombarded the city of Bogodukhiv with cluster munitions from Tornado-S rocket launchers.

One of the hits happened near a bus stop, where eight civilians were injured. Three injured people with shrapnel wounds were taken to the hospital. Other citizens were diagnosed with an acute reaction to stress.

A 71-year-old man received non-life-threatening injuries at a public transport stop.

Civil infrastructure of the city, private houses, cars were damaged.

The investigative team, criminologists, and explosives management specialists are inspecting the impact sites and documenting the consequences of the shelling.

Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
