An Arab Israeli man was fatally shot and two others were injured in Istanbul late Sunday, in what media reports suggest was a dispute over money.

The Istanbul Governor’s Office on Monday announced that a large-scale investigation was launched into the incident. The assailant reportedly used a silencer, a statement by the Governor’s Office added.

Israel’s public broadcaster Kan late Monday identified the deceased as Abdul Qader, an Arab Israeli. The wounded included another Arab Israeli and one Turkish national. CCTV footage from the scene shows Qader attempting to flee through his car window and seeking refuge in a nearby shop, while the attacker pursued him and shot at him.
