An unexploded shell from World War II was discovered in Dortmund, Germany. After that, about 1300 people were evacuated from the area.

A 250-kilogram bomb made in the United States with a fuse was discovered before the construction works were carried out in one of the parks. Employees of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service inspected the dangerous find and decided to neutralize it.

It is not yet known how long the decontamination operation will last.
