In Odesa, military sailors destroyed another sea mine that was carried to the coast.
The Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this in Telegram , Ukrinform reports.
"Today, another dangerous find was discovered in Odesa region - an anchor mine , which was carried to the coast. The ammunition was neutralized by the forces and means of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by means of a controlled detonation in compliance with all necessary safety measures," the Navy said in a statement.
They also reminded that in case of detection of suspicious or explosive objects, in no case should you approach them, touch them or try to move/dispose of them yourself. In case of detection of such objects, the relevant services should be notified.
As reported by Ukrinform , on October 15, 2023, a sea mine was blown into the coastal waters of Odesa region by a storm. Specialists carried out a controlled detonation.
