A combined team of State Police, Border Security Force (BSF), Gurkha Rifles and Assam Rifles personnel recovered a cache arms and ammunition during search operation carried out at Chairel Khunou Heirikokthong hill under Wangoo Police Station in Kakching District of Manipur on August 5, reports The Sangai Express. Two hand grenades, one carbine magazine, one 2-inch mortar shell, six tear smoke shell, one anti-riot cartridge, two smoke grenades, one helmet, one 12 Bore cartridge and four tracer rounds were recovered in a white bag from a secluded area in Heirikokthong Hill.
