The Defense Forces repelled nine attacks, with four still ongoing. In the Toretsk direction, Russians attacked Ukrainian forces eight times near Zalizne, New York, and Pivnichne. Seven battles have concluded, and one engagement is still ongoing. The highest activity from Russian forces was observed in the Pokrovsk direction. Since the beginning of the day, the Russian army attempted 31 times to break through Ukrainian defenses near settlements, including Oleksandropil, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Tymofiivka, Ivanivka, Vesele, Novoselivka Persha, and Yasnobrodivka. In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 15 times near Krasnohorivka, Kostyantynivka, and Paraskoviivka. Twelve attacks were repelled, and three are still ongoing. In the Vremivka direction, the enemy carried out 13 offensive actions near Kostyantynivka, Vodiane, Velyka Novosilka, and Rozdolne. Ukrainian defenders halted 10 enemy assaults, with three battles still ongoing. In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian army launched four attacks near Mala Tokmachka, Yurkyvka, Novoandriivka, and Shcherbaky. As a result of the clashes, they suffered losses. In the Pryndiprovsk direction, the enemy's efforts to dislodge Ukrainian forces from their positions on the left bank of the Dnieper also proved unsuccessful. Additionally, at the end of the report, the General Staff commended the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade soldiers named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa for their effective destruction of the enemy, inflicting substantial losses in personnel and equipment. On July 24, 125 combat engagements were reported on the front. The enemy focused on five directions in the Donetsk region. Earlier, it was reported that enemy losses totaled 1,230 soldiers in the past day. Additionally, Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 11 tanks, 26 armored combat vehicles, and 45 artillery systems.
