CBRN event in Manipur, Tekcham Maning Ching, Thoubal District area, India on Tue 30th July 2024

A joint team of the CRPF, Assam Rifles, and Manipur Police on July 30 conducted a search operation at the foothill of Tekcham Maning Ching under the Thoubal Police Station in Thoubal District of Manipur and recovered of a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives, reports Northeast Now. The recovery items include one sniper rifle with scope, a bolt rifle, one 9mm pistol along with a magazine, six HE-36 hand grenades, six detonators, one baofeng radio set, 36 live rounds, one stun grenade, one stun shell LR, one stinger cartridge, one smoke shell LR, three dye marker grenades, one tear smoke grenade and one  tear gas grenade.
