On July 26, Manipur Police arrested four cadres of United National Liberation Front – Pambei faction (UNLF-P) from Chingmeirong in Imphal West District of Manipurfollowing accusations of rape, firing, and assault on civilians, reports Northeast Now. The arrested cadres were identified as Thounaojam Gopen Singh (34), Naorem Ningthouremba (25), Arambam Tom Meitei (35) and Laishram Doshnikumar (28).Police recovered a pistol and ammunition during the operation.
