On 20 July 2024, near Za Lun village (Thandwe township, Thandwe district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military troops blew up four bridges including Tha Yet Pin Kwin bridge, Za Lun bridge, Sin Din Lay bridge and Pein Taw Gyi bridge located between the Za Lun village and the Maung Shwe Lay navy base using mines to prevent the Arakan Army from attacking the Maung Shwe Lay navy base. Casualties unknown.
