Over the past day, 155 combat engagements took place along the Ukrainian frontlines. That’s according to the spokesman for the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Dmytro Hutsuliak, who spoke on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform reports. "During the past day, 155 combat clashes were recorded. The situation was tensest in the Pokrovsk axis while the enemy was also active in the Kramatorsk axis," Hutsuliak said. Kharkiv axis: Russian invaders attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 10 times in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk. Kupiansk axis: Ukraine’s defense forces repelled 13 assaults in the areas of Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Kolisnivka, Pishchane, and Berestove. Lyman axis: the enemy attacked 11 times near Novoserhiivka, Makiivka, Nevski Terny, Torske, and Serebriansk Forest. Siversk axis: Ukrainian defenders repelled eight attacks by Russian invaders near Spirne, Verkhniokamyanske, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Vyimka, and Pereizne. A total of eight clashes took place in the area. Kramatorsk axis: the invaders attacked 30 times in the areas of Bondarne, Minskivka, Vasiukivka, Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, Ivanivske, Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka. Toretsk axis: the enemy launched 16 assaults near Pivnichne, Toretsk, New York, and Zalizne. Pokrovsk axis: Ukraine’s defenders repelled 43 assaults in the areas of Panteleimonivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novo-oleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Timofiivka, Lozuvatske, Prohres, Novoselivka Persha, Vovche, Yasnobrodivka, Umanske, and Kalynivka settlements. Enemy attacks largely focused on the area of Novo-oleksandrivka. Kurakhove axis: Ukraine’s defense forces repelled 17 attacks near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Paraskoviivka, where the Russians tried to break through Ukrainian defenses. Orikhiv axis: the occupiers continue to try to push Ukrainian units out of their positions. Here, three combat clashes took place in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne. Prydniprovia axis: four Russian attacks saw no success on the left bank of the Dnipro. According to a detailed update, yesterday the enemy launched three missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, employing three missiles, as well as 96 airstrikes, dropping 132 gliding bombs. Also, Ukraine over 4,400 artillery strikes have been launched, including 105 involving jet artillery. The situation has not undergone significant changes in the Vremivka and Huliaipole axes. No signs of Russian offensive groupings being formed were detected in the Volyn and Polissia axes. On the border with Russia in Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains its military presence, shelling populated areas from across the border and increasing the density of their minefields. At the same time, Ukraine’s forces are actively inflicting significant losses on Russian manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire line of contact. In general, the Russian invaders suffered 1,220 war casualties in the past day. Ukraine’s forces also destroyed four enemy tanks, 20 armored fighting vehicles, 57 artillery systems, two multiple rocket launchers, an air defense system, 36 UAVs, 64 vehicles, and three units of specialized equipment. As Ukrinform reported earlier, on July 22, a total of 133 clashes were reported along the frontline, most of them in the Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk directions.
