On July 24, Naik Dilwar Khan (28), an Army trooper, succumbed to injuries sustained in an encounter with terrorists in the Lolab area in Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. Earlier, SATP reported that the encounter between Security Forces (SF) and terrorists began on July 23, during which an unidentified terrorist was killed, and Naik Khan was injured on July 24.
