At least three terrorists were killed during an infiltration attempt at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Upper Dir District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on July 22, reports Aaj TV. “The infiltrators were surrounded, effectively engaged and after an intense fire exchange, all three terrorists were killed,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement. It added that Pakistan has been asking the interim Afghan government to ensure effective border management on their side of the border. “Interim Afghan Government is expected to fulfil its obligations and deny the use of Afghan soil by terrorists for perpetuating acts of terrorism against Pakistan,” it said.
