On July 20, a joint operation by the Indian Army and the Manipur Police Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) recovered eight improvised explosive devices (IEDs) weighing 33 kilogrammes in the Saichang Itham area of the Imphal East District of Manipur, reports Northeast Now. The explosives, which included fuses and cordex wires, were successfully neutralized by the BDDS.
