On 13 July 2024, in Mogoke town (Mogoke township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), during the fight with the TNLA near Pan Ma Hteik village (coded separately), the military fired artillery rounds at around 3:45 pm and some of the rounds landed in Sit Tan Kone ward, hitting and injuring a man and a woman. Consecutively, the military's artillery rounds also landed in Bo Kone, Tha Hpan Pin, Myo Ma, Zay Haung and Min Tan Dar wards at around 12:30 pm, hitting and destroying three houses near the Maternal and Child Welfare Association office in Myo Ma ward and 5 houses in Zay Haung ward. Khit Thit Media reported 3 locals, including a 40-year-old woman from Min Tan Dar ward, a man from Bo Kone ward and a woman from Myo Ma ward, were killed and 7 others were injured. Shan Herald Agency for News reported that 3 locals were killed and at least 10 locals were injured in Min Tan Dar ward. Khit Thit Media, DVB and Myanmar Pressphoto Agency reported that the event occurred on 13 July 2024 while Shan Herald Agency for News reported it occurred on 14 July 2024.
