Around 15 July 2024 (as reported), in Mogoke town (Mogoke township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military stationed on the strategic outpost hill at the east side of the town fired missiles around 9 pm, which fell and exploded into the Kyat Pyin area, Pan Ma Cherry ward. 2 locals, a 7-year-old child and a 40-year-old woman, were killed. 5 others, an 18-year-old girl, a 14-year-old girl, an 84-year-old woman, a 44-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, were injured. Myanmar Now and Khit Thit Media reported that this event happened on 15 July while Shwe Phee Myay and MPA reported that it was on 16 July.
