On 8 August, militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood reportedly fired artillery shells at civilian areas in Ad Dakkah area of Al Mualla district in Aden city, hitting a house and injuring 4 civilians. According to UN OCHA, fightings taking place in Aden between 8 and 10 August resulted in at least 40 civilians killed and 260 injured. Fatalities split up between 18 events over 3 days.
