On 8 August, pro-STC Security Belt Forces reportedly fired HOT missiles at pro-Hadi armored military vehicles belonging to the Presidential Guard in the Maashiq Presidential Palace of Craiter district in Aden city, southern Yemen, killing 1 pro-Hadi official and 6 soldiers. According to UN OCHA, fightings taking place in Aden between 8 and 10 August resulted in at least 40 civilians killed and 260 injured. Fatalities split up between 18 events over 3 days (2 fatalities coded in tuis event).
