On 16 July 2024, in Thein Za Yat town (Kyaikto township, Thaton district, Mon state), the Myanmar military LIB-310 fired heavy weapons at 8:30 pm without an armed clash occurring which fell and exploded into a lumber mill in the No.1 ward Ywar Lay area. A 20-year-old man and a 40-year-old man who were working in the lumber mill were injured. They were sent to a hospital to receive treatment.
