On 17 July 2024, Russian warplanes conducted airstrikes targeting IS positions in Al-Rasafah area in Ar Raqqa countryside, and in Sokhneh and Tadmor areas in Homs countryside, killing a number of IS members, and destroying weapons and ammunition depots. Unspecified fatalities coded to 10 and split to three locations as follows; Al-Rasafah 4, Sokhneh 3, and Tadmor 3.
