On 6 July 2024, in Hnget Pyaw Taw village (Kyaikto township, Thaton district, Mon state), the Myanmar military troop stationed at the Maung Tuu hill of the Ta Kay Chaung Hpyar village fired heavy weapons five times around 3 pm, which fell and exploded into a rubber farm in the Zee Kone ward and injured an 8-year-old boy, a 12-year-old boy, a 13-year-old boy, a 19-year-old man, a 49-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man who were working in the farm. A house and a car were also damaged.
