On 7 July 2024, near Kyun Taing village (Pauk township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes two times with a fighter jet and fired 120 mm heavy weapons from the military troops stationed at the Pyin Ma Ywar pagoda hill, fired howitzers from No.24 military equipment factory, and fired heavy weapons from Su Poke Khon and Pyin Ma Site villages. Locals from seven villages including Kyun Taing village were forced to flee. There were no casualties.
