In Iğdır, Aralık Mayor Mustafa Güzelkaya shot at a drone flying over his farm. Güzelkaya, who thought he was being followed, said to the person who brought the gun, "Godless, hurry up", which made the audience laugh.
Gunshots were heard at the farm of Mustafa Güzelkaya, the Mayor of Iğdır’s Aralık district, on the Armenian border.
While Güzelkaya was on the farm, he noticed a drone flying over the farm.
Suspecting that he was being followed, the president asked someone else on the farm for a rifle. He then opened fire on the drone with the rifle. The drone slowly moved away from the area.
It was not learned whether the drone was used by security forces, Armenia or as a hobby.
The mayor shared the footage of that moment on his social media account and said "Godless, hurry up" while asking for a gun, which caused various jokes among the citizens.
