A man in his twenties has been arrested on suspicion of serious weapons offense and attempted murder after yesterday's shooting in the center of Hagsätra.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m., the police were called to Hagsätra center where several people witnessed a shooting.

- We have no evidence that anyone has been injured, says Ola Österling, press spokesperson at the Stockholm Police.

He adds that the perpetrator was seen running from the scene.

During the evening, two people were identified as plaintiffs. They were questioned by the police.

Hagsätra subway station was temporarily closed after shooting took place in Söderort on Monday evening.

- Technicians are on site at the entrance to the station, which will be closed for a number of hours more, says Ola Österling.

The police are investigating whether there are links to gang crime.
