On 2 October, a District Reserve Group (DRG) officer was injured in an IED blast by Naxals between Mundwal and Dondipadar villages under Pushpal police station limits (Sukma, Chhattisgarh), while the DRG team was on a search operation. The incident took place b when the DRG's team was out on a search operation.
