During Thursday morning, police were called to Åby north of Norrköping after a suspicious shooting. What at first looks like bullet holes in a kebab restaurant turns out to be shrapnel from a detonation at the site. This is announced by the police after a technical investigation.

- We have several skills in place with technical staff and dogs, says the police's press spokesperson, Mats Pettersson.

During the afternoon, the police technician announces that there has been some form of detonation between Åbymoskolan and the restaurant, both of which have received shrapnel damage.

The detonation took place sometime between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. There are no reports that anyone has been injured.

The crime classification is currently a violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods, grossly illegal threats, public destruction and vandalism.

There is currently no suspected perpetrator.
