As reported on 9 August 2019,over 24 hours, Afghan and US NATO forces conducted airstrikes against the Taliban in the Tandan area of Puli Alam city, the Qala-e Ebad area of Baraki Barak district, and the Kharpichak Kotal area of Charkh district, Logar. 30-34 militants were killed (coded across 3 events) and 4 others were wounded. A vehicle packed with explosives and munitions were also destroyed.
