On 25 and 26 August 2019, the Taliban claimed to have shelled the joint US NATO-Afghan airfield in Bagram distritc, Parwan, 3 times: once on the afternoon of the 25th, on the night of the 25th, and on the afternoon of the 26th. They claimed to have caused damage and casualties among Americans. US officials denied damage or casualties.
