Russian troops intensified their attacks in the Kurakhove axis, while a total of 65 combat engagements have been recorded since the start of Tuesday. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, posting a battlefield update as of 16:00 Kyiv time, Ukrinform saw. It is noted that the Ukrainian defenders "disrupt the insidious plans of the enemy, inflicting significant losses on their manpower and equipment." The Russian army hit Holinka, Chernihiv region, with an Kh-59 missile. Twenty-five guided aerial bombs were dropped on the areas of Lyptsi, Vovchansk, Veterynarne, Starytsia, and Vovchanski Khutori in Kharkiv region. In the Kharkiv axis, the invaders attacked Ukrainian defense lines near Vovchansk and Hlyboky four times. In the Kupiansk axis, the Russians launched eight assaults near Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, Synkivka, Berestove, and Andriivka. Six battles have ended, two more are ongoing. In the Lyman axis, Russian troops attacked five times near Nevske and Makiivka. Ukrainian defenders have repelled four attacks, another one is ongoing. In the Siversk axis, the Russian army attacked seven times in the Verkhniokamianskye, Pereiznyi, and Pivnichne areas. Six enemy assaults were repelled and another battle is ongoing. In the Kramatorsk axis, the invaders resorted to assault five times. Ukrainian defenders stopped two enemy attacks near Opytne and Chasiv Yar, three more attacks continue in the Klishchiivka area. In the axis of Toretsk, the Russians attacked six times near Pivnichne, Toretsk, and New York. Four fights ended without success, and two more are ongoing. In the Pokrovsk axis, since the beginning of the day, Russian troops have made the largest number of attempts to dislodge Ukraine’s defenders from their positions in the areas of Novo-oleksandrivka, Kalynove, Vozdvyzhenka, Prohres, Novoselivka Persha, and Umanske. "The defense forces restrained the enemy's onslaught and repelled nine attacks while five clashes are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being verified," the General Staff informed. In the Kurakhove axis, the Russian army attacked 12 times near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka, and Paraskoviivka. Eight battles have ended and four are still ongoing. In the Vremivka axis, the invaders twice attacked the positions of the Ukrainian defenders near Vodiane, with no success. In the Orikhiv axis, the Russians tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses near Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka. The effort was repelled. In other areas, the situation has not changed significantly. As Ukrinform reported earlier, a total of 119 combat clashes took place on the front in the past day.
