Woman killed, 4 injured in Kismayo blast targeting AMISOM A civilian woman was reportedly killed and four others were injured in an explosion targeting AMISOM troops in Kismayo today. Sierra Leone troops serving under the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) have been targeted in an explosion in Dalcada neighborhood west of Kismayo. The bomber struck shortly after noon in Kismayo, the capital of Lower Jubba region. Witnesses said reporter Bar-kulan that the area where the blast had killed a civilian woman and road riding, four other civilians were injured after hit troops opened fire on Sierra Leone's after the explosion. The wounded were taken to Kismayo hospital. AMISOM forces then cordoned off the area where the blast took place. No official from the Jubbaland administration or AMISOM has yet commented on the blast. Prior to the blast, Jubbaland and AMISOM forces removed two landmines from the area where the blast took place. On several previous occasions, AMISOM troops in Kismayo have been targeted by landmines.
