Grenade event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Jalebi Morr, Hikmatabad area, Pakistan on Wed 10th July 2024

A most wanted Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorist Kifayat Ullah, involved in the Daraban Police Station attack of December 12, 2023, was killed during an operation conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) at Jalebi Morr in Hikmatabad area within the jurisdiction of Dera town Police Station in Dera Ismail Khan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on July 10, reports Urdu Point. The slain terrorist Kifayat Ullah, a resident of Daraban Kalan, was involved in the Daraban Police Station attack in which 24 Security Forces (SFs) personnel were killed while 33 others were injured. The CTD also recovered one SMG folding butt, 04 magazines, 37 cartridges, one hand grenade, one pocket size diary with the name of Kifayatullah, and an easy paisa card in the name of Doraan Khan. The other accomplices of the slain terrorist managed to escape by taking advantage of the darkness of the night.
