In the early hours of July 9, Kangpokpi District Police of Manipur and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) arrested three Kuki militants, identified as Thangjoel Haokip alias Thangboi, Jangjoulen Khongsai alias Goulen, and Jangminlun Singson alias Franky, at New Keithelmanbi Police Station in Kangpokpi District of Manipur, reports Imphal Free Press. The operation, based on inputs from the National Investigation Agency (NIA), led to the recovery of a significant cache of arms and ammunition. Seized items included 236 rounds of .303 ammunition, 485 AK-47 rounds, 661 5.56 mm rounds (INSAS rounds), two AK-47 rifles, a foreign rifle with a scope, and various empty magazines.
