Three people were killed while seven others, including two Policemen were injured when a remote-controlled explosive device planted on a bridge exploded near the Jalala Bridge in Takhtbhai area of Mardan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on July 5, reports Dawn. Sadar Superintendent of Police (SP) Khalid Khan said that unidentified terrorists planted the explosive device near the Jalala Bridge and detonated it as the Police van was passing by. Police vehicle and a rickshaw were damaged in the blast, with three people in the rickshaw dead while seven people, including two Policemen were injured.
