SAA event in Madhya Pradesh, Kanjar Mohalla-Saluja Colony, Khandwa District area, India on Wed 3rd July 2024

On July 4, Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) arrested a sympathiser, identified as Faizan Sheikh, who is highly radicalised with Indian Mujahideen (IM) and Islamic State (IS) ideology and conspiring to execute lone wolf attack on security personnel, at Kanjar Mohalla-Saluja Colony in Khandwa District of Madhya Pradesh, reports The New Indian Express. ATS seized four cell phones, one pistol, live cartridges, literature and videos of various terror outfits, including Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Islamic State (IS) and Indian Mujahideen (IM) from the accused. ATS investigation revealed that the accused has been in regular touch with the operatives of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).
