Unknown gunmen carried out an assassination operation at dawn on Wednesday targeting the commander of the "Jabal Brigade" faction in Sweida Governorate, Marhej al-Jarmani, after targeting him with a gunshot from close range in his home, using a weapon believed to be a silencer pistol. Al-Jarmani is one of the most prominent participants in the recent peaceful movement against the Assad regime, which has been taking place in Sweida Governorate since August 2023. The Al-Jarmani faction is also considered one of the most prominent factions that participated in eliminating the "Raji Flahout" group, which was carrying out security missions such as kidnapping, assassination and drug trafficking for the benefit of the Military Security Service and the Lebanese Hezbollah militia in Sweida. #Ahrar_Hauran
