Around 1 July 2024 (from 29 June - 2 July), PKK militants carried out several attacks via 'aerial vehicles' (presumably via armed drones or paramotors) targeting the Turkish army positions in Sehid Delil, Gire Cudi, and Gire FM areas of Zap region (Al Amadiya district) of Duhok. HPG (PKK) claimed a total of 8 Turkish soldiers were killed and 7 positions and 4 tents were destroyed in the attacks but this was not confirmed by other sources (PKK's claim over fatalities among Turkish forces coded as 0). 0 fatalities coded. One event for each location (total 3 events) coded.
