On 4 July 2024, in Sa Bai Gu village (Kyaikmaraw township, Mawlamyine district, Mon state), a combined force of the Galon Column (Drone Team), the Albino Tiger Column (Company 3 - Drone Team), the Mon Liberation Army, and the Lion Battalion Commando Special Force (Company 3) attacked a Myanmar military checkpoint located near the Sa Bai Gu bridge using bombs attached to drones at around 7 pm. The checkpoint was stationed by about 70 military troops from the LIB-102 and LIB-32. Three military troops were killed, and four others sustained injuries.
