On 8 July 2024, Russian forces launched an air strike with KH-101 missile at Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv - Shevchenkivskyi, Kyiv region. 2 civilians were killed, 32 civilians were injured. One of the hospital buildings was destroyed, others were damaged. During the missile strike, one residential building was destroyed. 14 civilians were killed, 18 injured. The Lukyanviska metro station lobby, residential buildings, market and shops located nearby were also damaged when other missiles landed. 2 civilians were killed, 3 were injured. Power substations were destroyed in the same district.
