During the night to Friday, the police were alerted to the district of Norr in Eskilstuna, where several shots were fired at an apartment door.

The alarm came in at 01 o'clock at night.

- At this point, we choose not to comment on anything and wait for what the criminal investigation says. There are no arrests, no injuries and no suspects," says Fredrik Andersson, Officer-in-Charge of the Eastern Police.

The criminal offence is attempted murder and aggravated weapons offence. On Friday, a forensic investigation, questioning and door knocking were carried out in the area.

Second shooting in two weeks

Less than two weeks ago, a man aged 35 was shot in Eskilstuna. He was found seriously injured and prosecutors saw no connection to gang crime at the time.
