On 28 June 2024, in Mei Ta Yo village (Kyaikmaraw township, Mawlamyine district, Mon state), During the fight with the Galon Column, the military from the Southeast Command Headquarters conducted an airstrike with a Mi-35 aircraft and fired 60 mm rounds on the village for about 40 minutes. A total of one local was injured in three villages, Mei Ta Yo, Kawt Du (coded separately) and Kawt Pa Nar villages (coded separately).
