On 28 June 2024, in Let Wea village (Natogyi township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region), about 40 to 50 military soldiers coming from Let Tha Mar Kan village fired artillery rounds 7 to 8 times while raiding Let Wea village, hitting and injuring a local in the foot. They also looted and set fire to 5 houses at around 11 am before retreating from the village.
